Burnaby police seeking video of motorcycle collision last week

The Burnaby RCMP is seeking dashcam footage of a collision last week that sent a motorcyclist to hospital with serious injuries.

Mounties say officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle around 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19.

The motorcycle was reportedly travelling northbound on Boundary Road when it hit the side of a pick-up truck driving westbound on Frances Street. Police say the driver of the truck remained on scene.

As of Tuesday, police say the motorcyclist remains in hospital.

“Our investigators have spoken to many witnesses, but we believe there may be video of this collision,” said Cpl. Mike Kalanj.
