B.C. premier welcomes 3rd child

Premier David Eby announced the birth of his third child with wife, Cailey Lynch Thursday afternoon.
In a post to social media, Eby welcomed baby Gwendolyn, saying everyone is happy and healthy.
He says the name comes from the baby’s great grandmother, a long time Victoria resident.
Gwendolyn joins Eby’s family with an older brother and sister.
He thanked the obstetrics team, nurses and hospital staff for their work.
The next B.C. election is scheduled for fall 2024.
