Vancouver SeaBus sailings start 15 minutes earlier on weekdays

SeaBus passengers can start their day earlier due to a service change that took effect Tuesday.

The first SeaBus from Lonsdale Quay now leaves at 5:47 a.m. on weekdays, while the first one leaving Waterfront Station departs at 6:01 a.m.

Both first departures have advanced 15 minutes earlier in the day from previous schedules.

SeaBuses are running later into the night on summer weekends as well, with sailings until 11:15 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays From June 9 until Sept. 28, 2024.

As of Monday, taking the SeaBus will now cost you more.

TransLink fares have increased by five to 15 cents per trip, depending on how many zones passengers travel.

An adult one-zone pass now costs $3.20, a two-zone pass costs $4.65, and a three-zone pass costs $6.35 — up from $3.15, $4.55, and $6.20 respectively.
