Lower bowl of Vancouver stadium sells out months ahead of Grey Cup

All lower-bowl seats for the 111th Grey Cup, set to be hosted at Vancouver’s BC Place in four months, have already sold out.

Nov. 17 will mark the 17th time Vancouver has hosted the game, and fans are ready to show up.

Roughly 25,000 game day seats ranging in price from $260 to $575 for the lower levels of the stadium have sold out. The Grey Cup Festival website claimed Thursday that 45,000 tickets have already been sold, leaving roughly 9,000 seats available.

“We’re building out a legendary Grey Cup Festival and fans have been steadily locking in their Nov. 17th plans every day since tickets went on sale,” said the festival’s executive director, Riley Wiwchar.

Alongside the match, the Jonas Brothers are set to perform at the Grey Cup halftime show.

The last time Vancouver hosted the game was in 2014.
