Woman’s body found on Vancouver’s Sunset Beach

The Vancouver Police Department says it’s investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in the water near Sunset Beach Sunday morning.
Police say the Missing Persons Unit, Major Crime Section, and BC Coroners Service are investigating the death but have not yet determined if it was the result of a crime.
“The person has not been identified,” said Sgt. Steve Addison in a statement to CityNews.
A passerby discovered the body before 10 a.m., and investigators remain on scene as of Sunday afternoon.
