Police looking for mischief suspects who caused ‘significant damage’ inside Coquitlam Walmart

Police are asking for the public’s assistance to find a group of youth who set off a fire extinguisher inside a store.

Coquitlam RCMP says their frontline officers dealt with a mischief report at the Walmart inside Coquitlam Centre Mall along Barnet Highway on Tuesday, July 2, at 8 p.m.

Mounties say that a group of three youths set off an unopened fire extinguisher before taking off.

“Significant damage was caused to the surrounding area, aisle and products,” Mounties said.
