Surrey business shot at, no injuries reported: RCMP

The Surrey RCMP says it’s looking for witnesses and video after a business in the Newton area was shot at Sunday night.
Officers received reports of shots being fired in the area of 72nd Avenue near 144th Street around 11 p.m.
When they arrived, the RCMP says officers found a business with several bullet holes to the exterior.

No injuries were reported, and police say the business was unoccupied at the time.
Mounties are in the process of canvassing the area and note no motive has been identified.
The Surrey RCMP is asking any witnesses or people with video from the area to contact investigators at 604-599-0502 and quote file number 2024-114887.
