Body found near Canada Way in Burnaby: RCMP

The Burnaby RCMP says it has ruled out foul play after a body was found in the area of Canada Way near Kensington Thursday.

Police say the call came in around 4:30 p.m.

“Burnaby Front Line officers are currently on scene with BC Coroners Service,” Corp. Laura Hirst told 1130 News Radio.

“Burnaby RCMP have ruled out foul-play we are working with the BC Coroners Service to investigate the cause of death,” Hirst said in a follow up statement Friday.

No other details have been provided at this time.
