Hwy 99 in Delta reopens after crash into BC Hydro pole

Highway 99 in Delta has reopened as crews work to remove the risk of a downed power pole.

The Delta Police Department confirms that a truck crashed into a hydro-electric pole. BC Hydro on scene working to repair the pole.

As of 4:10 p.m., 1130 NewsRadio confirmed that the southbound and northbound lanes have reopened after being closed for over an hour.

Drivers can still expect heavy congestion in the area.
