3 hikers found after going missing near North Vancouver

North Shore Rescue (NSR) says three hikers have been found Monday morning after going missing near a trail deep in the backcountry behind Mount Seymour overnight.

NSR says the hikers went missing near Paton Peak, a trail off Lillooet Road, approximately 30 minutes from North Vancouver. According to VancouverTrails.com, the hike is considered difficult.

Around 10 a.m., NSR said the hikers had been located and “all subjects and rescuers are safely out of the field.”
