Man stabbed near Langley city centre

The Langley RCMP says one person is in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed Tuesday morning.

Mounties say they were called to Douglas Crescent and 203 Street just after 8:15 a.m.

Upon arrival, emergency crews found a 26-year-old Langley man inside a local business who was then rushed to hospital with “serious but non-life-threatening injuries.”

“The investigation is in its infancy, however, we believe that this was a targeted and isolated incident. There is no ongoing risk to public safety,” said Langley RCMP Corp. Zynal Sharoom.

Police are now looking for witnesses and drivers with dashcam footage of the incident. You can call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quote file number 2024-30019.
