3-car crash on Port Mann Bridge clears; delays from Coquitlam to Vancouver ongoing

A three-car crash had one eastbound through lane on the Port Mann Bridge blocked Thursday afternoon, causing ongoing delays in the surrounding area.

Callers to 1130 NewsRadio reported the collision around 2:25 p.m.

Around 3:50 p.m., DriveBC reported that the crash had been cleared from the bridge.

Delays continue to extend well into Vancouver, making the entire Burnaby Lake stretch of Highway 1 extremely congested.

Drivers can use the Pattullo Bridge as a detour. Those already close to the Port Mann can use the Surrey exit lanes to cross more quickly.
