Get ready to shift into winter if you need to take the out-of-town highways Saturday.
A special weather statement for the Coquihalla Highway that was in place has ended, but Environment Canada says some flurries are still expected.
Highway 3 between Hope and Princeton and the Okanagan Connector will also see light snow.
Meanwhile, more snow is expected on Highway 3 between Paulson Summit and the Kootenay Pass, and Environment Canada has a snowfall warning in place for that stretch of road.
“Today, the snowfall warning criteria is most likely to be met with amounts near 15 cm in 12 hours expected,” it said in an alert.
“Snow showers will ease this evening.”
