Two eastbound lanes on Highway 1 were closed after a vehicle caught fire on the Port Mann Bridge between Coquitlam and Surrey.
An update from DriveBC indicated that the right through lane has reopened as of 4 p.m. but the Surrey exit lane remains closed.

Emergency crews had the right through lane and the left exit lane blocked as the vehicle was on the painted median before the offramp.
Traffic was backed up through Burnaby and delays had reached as far as Vancouver.
Drivers can cross the Fraser River by getting down to the Pattullo Bridge. You can put yourself back onto Highway 1 eastbound via 104th Avenue.
