Police say several North Vancouver City Fire Department (NVCFD) uniforms that were stolen from a dry cleaner in October have been recovered.
The North Vancouver RCMP says it responded to a report of a break and enter at a business near West 3rd Street and MacKay Road in the early morning on Oct. 5.
CCTV footage of the incident shows a man breaking in and stealing several uniforms, including four shirts emblazoned with the NVCFD crest, off a rack.
In an update Monday, Mounties confirmed that the uniforms were turned into a local fire hall on Nov. 5.
“Although the uniform has been recovered, our investigation is still very active and ongoing,” said Const. Mansoor Sahak.
In October, police released a video of the theft, hoping the public could help identify the suspect involved.
