Alex Fraser Bridge crashes clear; traffic delays continue

A multi-vehicle crash on the Alex Fraser Bridge that had southbound traffic squeezing by has cleared Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, a separate northbound crash that had the left lane blocked has also cleared.

Shortly after 2 p.m., the Delta Police Department confirmed that three of the four southbound lanes were open.
Just before 3 p.m., Drive BC announced that all southbound and northbound lanes had cleared.
Drivers can still expect delays in both directions.
The George Massey Tunnel is the natural detour from the Alex Fraser Bridge. Depending on your route, you could also use the Pattullo Bridge.
