SkyTrain service restored after police incident in Vancouver

SkyTrain service on a section of the Canada Line in Vancouver was shut down Wednesday afternoon during a police incident.

Service was temporarily suspended between Waterfront and King Edward stations.

In an update around 6:10 p.m., TransLink said service had been restored along the Canada Line.

It says the disruption was due to a “track intrusion alarm” near Yaletown-Roundhouse Station.

The Expo and Millennium Lines were unaffected.

TransLink says riders can still expect “gaps” while service resumes.
