Boundary Road on Vancouver-Burnaby border closed in both directions

A crash involving a dump truck has closed a section of Boundary Road, bordering Burnaby and Vancouver, in both directions Monday afternoon. Police say the truck brought down several hydro wires during the crash. (CityNews image)

A crash involving a dump truck closed a section of Boundary Road, bordering Burnaby and Vancouver, in both directions Monday.

Police say the truck brought down several hydro wires during the crash. Power outages in the area are affected homes and businesses, including the Grandview Superstore.

As of 8 p.m. Monday, Boundary Road between Lougheed Highway and Grandview Highway remained closed.
