Police say the 59-year-old tax driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and received treatment at hospital.

The president of the BC Taxi Association, Mohan Kang, told 1130 NewsRadio last week that he was shocked to hear about the incident.

He says violence against drivers has become far less common since safety cameras were made mandatory.
