Police investigating early morning homicide in East Vancouver

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says it is investigating a homicide in a home in the Hastings-Sunrise area early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the home near North Kootenay and Dundas streets just after 4:30 a.m.
Two suspects in their 20s have been arrested, the VPD says.
The victim, a 49-year-old man, died on the scene.
“The investigation remains ongoing,” Const. Tania Visintin said.
“Detectives from VPD’s Forensic Identification Unit and Major Crime Section will be working in the area throughout the day to collect evidence.”
