Two people killed in plane crash in Chilliwack: RCMP

The Transportation Safety Board is now investigating a deadly plane crash that happened over the weekend in the Fraser Valley. Kier Junos reports.

An investigation is underway after two people were killed in a plane crash in Chilliwack over the weekend.

Chilliwack RCMP say the Cessna 172S crashed southeast of the Chilliwack Lake just after 3:30 on Saturday afternoon.

The Transportation Safety Board says the aircraft is owned by the Chinook Helicopters Flight School of Abbotsford.

It is not clear how many people were on board.
