Surrey police say missing 6-year-old boy has been found

The Surrey Police Service says a missing six-year-old boy has been found.

Police announced at 11 a.m. Sunday that a boy missing since Saturday evening has been located safe and sound.

“This search has had well over 100 search and rescue volunteers from the South Fraser Search and Rescue Society, Coquitlam Search and Rescue Society, Mission Search and Rescue, and others, including from as far away as Kimberly and Sparwood Search and Rescue assist,” the SPS said.

The SPS thanks the public for help finding the child.
