Police are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run in Surrey’s Crescent Beach neighbourhood Sunday night. Jack Morse reports.

Surrey police are investigating after a driver injured two pedestrians in a hit-and-run near Crescent Beach Sunday night.

The Surrey Police Service says it responded to reports of the collision around 8:15 p.m.

Witnesses say a driver in a vehicle slowly approached a group on McKenzie Avenue and Sunshine Alley, then sped up, hitting several of them.

Two pedestrians, a man and a teenage boy, were both taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver did not remain at the scene. Police say the vehicle was last seen leaving westbound on McKenzie Avenue.

Witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage is asked to call the Surrey Police Service at 604-599-0502 and quote file 2025-20007 (SU).
