Port Coquitlam road closed after driver strikes pedestrian

A road off Lougheed Highway in Port Coquitlam is closed Tuesday afternoon after a driver struck and injured a pedestrian.

The driver remained on scene and the pedestrian was transported to hospital. Police did not disclose the pedestrian’s condition.
A portion of Oxford Connector will be closed, and motorists are asked to avoid the area while investigators work.
Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage is asked to call the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file #2025-11153.
