1 airlifted to hospital after Sunday motorcycle crash in Chilliwack: paramedics

Four people were hospitalized after a crash involving a motorcycle at a Chilliwack intersection Sunday evening.

BC Emergency Health Services says it responded to a call from Thomas Road near Vedder Road around 5 p.m.

“Three ambulances with primary care paramedics, an ambulance with advanced care paramedics, an advanced care paramedic response unit, and an air ambulance responded to the scene,” said Paramedic Public Information Officer Brian Twaites.

He says two patients were transported to hospital in stable condition, one in critical condition, and one other was transported by air ambulance in critical condition.

Details are limited, but images from the scene show a damaged motorcycle and a damaged Jeep SUV.

Debris and items of clothing can also be seen strewn near the vehicles.
