Police warn of newly released sex offender living in Vancouver

The Vancouver Police Department says a high-risk sex offender was released from custody Friday and will be living in the city.
The VPD says 53-year-old Kelly Isbister completed an 18-month sentence for possession of child pornography and breach of recognizance.
CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO 1130 NEWSRADIO VANCOUVER LIVE!“Vancouver Police believe compelling reasons exist to warn the public that he poses a high risk to children and youth – predominantly boys – in the community,” Const. Tania Visintin said in a release Friday.
Isbister is described as being 6’4″ and has brown hair and brown eyes.

He has been released under conditions, including reporting to his bail supervisor, wearing electronic monitoring equipment, not to have direct or indirect contact with victims or their family members, may not be in places where children under 18 are typically present, may not be in the presence of anyone under the age of 18, and may not be intoxicated in a public place.
Anyone who sees Isbister in violation of his release conditions is urged to call 911 immediately.
