Abbotsford police warn public about replica gun incidents

The Abbotsford Police Department is investigating several incidents involving pellet or airsoft guns.

Police say officers received five separate reports involving a group of young men in a white or light-colored SUV targeting pedestrians on Wednesday.

The first incident was reported around 6:15 p.m. along Peardonville Road near Emerson Street, with the last occurring approximately three hours later along South Fraser Way, east of Gladwin Road.

In each case, victims reported being followed by the suspect vehicle and then being shot at by someone with what appeared to be a replica gun.

One person sustained minor injuries.

The Abbotsford Police Department is urging the public to report any suspicious activity.
