Firefighters tackle fire under the Pitt River Bridge

The Pitt Meadows Fire and Rescue Service says it responded to a fire on the Ferry Slip Road Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was discovered on the Pitt Meadows side of the bridge.

“I don’t see flames but a lot of smoke,” said one caller.
Another caller says the fire is next to the railroad tracks that are located under the bridge.
