The sites include staffing departments like the Ministries of Health, Public Safety, Children and Family Development, and Transportation.

On Monday, the union announced workers with BC Liquor and Cannabis warehouses and head office were also joining the strike.

Tuesday’s action brings the total workers engaged in job action to 12,500 — with many spread across 33 active picket lines.

The union says escalation will continue throughout the week.
