The Surrey Police Service says it’s investigating another case of shots fired at a business in the city’s Newton neighbourhood Thursday.
Investigators say suspects arrived in the area of 82 Avenue and 124 Street around 3:30 a.m.

Police say the business was unoccupied and no one was injured. An employee reportedly discovered the damage around 7:45 a.m. and called the police.
The same autobody shop was targeted by gunfire in early October, the SPS confirmed.
No one was injured in the October shooting, and investigators said the case was not tied to any established extortion investigations.
But Thursday’s incident, police have confirmed, is believed to be “related to the ongoing series of extortions in Surrey.”
Investigators did not clarify if their opinion about the October shooting has changed.
