Motorcyclist dies from injuries after collision with semi-truck driver in Langley

A motorcyclist has died following a crash with the driver of a semi-truck in Langley Tuesday afternoon.
The Langley RCMP says it was called to the scene on Springbrook Road between Glover Road and 224 Street or 72 Avenue shortly after 3 p.m.

In an update Wednesday morning, the RCMP said the hospitalized victim, the motorcyclist, has died of their injuries.
“Given this development, investigators have now transitioned this incident into a fatal collision investigation.”



Images from the scene show the motorcycle crushed under the wheels of the semi’s trailer, while the tractor appears to have been mid turn.
Police temporarily closed roads in the area, which have since reopened.
