Highway 13 crash sends 1 to hospital: Langley RCMP

One person is in hospital and a highway in Aldergrove is closed Wednesday morning after a serious crash.

264 Street, also known as Highway 13 and Aldergrove-Bellingham Highway, is closed in both directions between 16 Avenue and 28 Avenue.

The Langley RCMP confirms the crash took place around 8:10 a.m.

“One individual was transported to a local area hospital in critical and life-threatening condition,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom.

He adds that the Lower Mainland Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) is investigating, and the road will be closed for “several hours.”

Witnesses to the crash are asked to contact the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200 and quote file number 2026-12192.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
