Surrey police investigating after shots fired in Whalley park

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says it is investigating after shots were fired in a park in the city’s Whalley neighbourhood early Wednesday morning.
Officers say they were called to Robertson Drive Park, which is located in the area of 127 Street and 92 Avenue, shortly after midnight.
“SPS Frontline officers responded, and after an extensive search, located evidence of shots fired,” police said.
“No suspects were located on scene, and there have been no reported injuries or property damage.”
The motive is unclear, the SPS says.
