RCMP: Teacher charged after running away with student

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Mounties in Manitoba need your help finding a 16-year-old girl who may be on her way to Vancouver.  Dezeraja Smoljanovich hasn’t been seen since last Thursday.

Investigators believe she is with 32-year-old Jonathan Clark, a man who is reported to be a recent boyfriend as well as her former high school teacher.

He’s now been charged with sex exploitation.

The pair is believed to be travelling in a grey 2005 Honda Accord with the Manitoba license plate FJB – 398.
