Composite sketch released of Stanley Park sex assault suspect

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Police in Vancouver are releasing a composite sketch of a suspect that’s believed to have sexually assaulted a woman in Stanley Park.

A woman was jogging near Lost Lagoon on May 26th at around 8:30 a.m. when she was reportedly grabbed from behind, knocked to the ground, and groped.

She fought off her attacker and he ran off.

He’s described as Aboriginal, late 30s to early 40s, six feet tall, and 190 pounds.

Police found a number of items of clothing nearby including gloves, a baseball hat, and a dark jacket.
