See the Canucks for free this weekend

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Vancouver Canucks veterans will report to Rogers Arena on Friday.  On Saturday and Sunday the practices will be open for fans and admission is complimentary.  The doors open at 8:30 a.m.

The Stanley Cup finalists will gather for medical evaluations and fitness testing on Friday, as 40 are scheduled to report.  In addition, some of the Canucks prospects will join the main camp after playing in the Okanagan for the past week.

At the Young Stars tournament, the Canucks prospects beat their colleagues from San Jose 5-3.  Czech defenceman Adam Polasek scored the game-winner and assisted on Anton Rodin’s insurance marker in the third period.

The tournament will wrap up for the Canucks youngsters on Thursday morning versus the Winnipeg Jets in Penticton.

Puck drop is at 11:30 a.m.
