VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Canucks don’t play until Wednesday, and you can expect Bo Horvat will be in the lineup. The team announced today Horvat will not be loaned to Team Canada for the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championship.

“Bo Horvat has proven he can contribute to the success of the Vancouver Canucks,” says Canucks General Manager Jim Benning. “He is a solid two-way player, strong in the faceoff circle and displays a maturity beyond his years. We’re very pleased with Bo’s play and look forward to watching him develop as an NHL player.”

The Canucks had until Friday to make their decision. Horvat played on Team Canada last season, registering three points in seven games. The 19-year old has five points in 17 games for the Canucks this year.
