Discovery of body in New Westminster now a murder investigation

NEW WESTMINSTER (NEWS1130) – Last week’s discovery of a body in New Westminster is now being treated as a murder investigation.

Patrick Alexander Leblanc’s body was found Friday morning in an abandoned car, parked at an apartment building near 3rd and Royal.

RCMP say the 67-year-old was probably killed somewhere else and moved. They aren’t releasing how he died.
