A special Fraser Health team has been deployed to the site.
The Worthington Pavilion is owned by Fraser Health and provides rehabilitation and recovery services for patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions so that they may safely return home following hospitalization.
Enhanced control measures have been put in place at the Worthington Pavilion, says Fraser Health, which is working with staff to identify anyone who may have been exposed and protect the health of all staff, patients, and families.

To prevent transmission of COVID-19, Fraser Health is ensuring staff currently working at Worthington Pavilion will not be working at any other facility.
Fraser Health also says staffing levels will be maintained at Worthington to provide patient care and visitors have been limited to only those deemed essential.
Movement among staff and patients in the facility has also been restricted, while cleaning and infection control measures have been enhanced.
Twice-a-day screening of all staff and patients has been implemented, as well.
