Vancouver police launch homicide investigation after body found

Police say they’re investigating a homicide after a body was found on an East Vancouver property Wednesday night.

According to the VPD, the body was found on a vacant lot in the area of Renfrew Street and East 8 Avenue just before 10 p.m. by a passerby.

Few other details are being released at this time. Police say no arrests have been made in the city’s ninth homicide of 2023.
