2 people hurt in Coquitlam shooting: RCMP

Mounties say two people were taken to the hospital after a late-night shooting in Coquitlam Sunday.
According to the RCMP, officers were called to a parking lot in the area of Barnet Highway and Pinetree Way just before midnight. When they arrived, officers say they found a woman and a man who had been shot.
The condition of both people isn’t known at this time. Mounties also have not announced any arrests.
Yellow police tape remained up around the Cactus Club in the area into Monday morning.
Police cruisers and investigators were also still at the scene well into the next day.
