Burnaby house damaged in early morning fire

A two-storey home went up in flames in Burnaby Wednesday morning.

According to the Burnaby Fire Department, the blaze on Douglas Road near Woodsworth Street broke out before 5 a.m., damaging the home.

A department spokesperson told CityNews everyone made it out safely.

Fire investigation crews are at the house investigating the cause of the blaze.
