Motorcycle crash snarls HWY 1 traffic eastbound from Langley

A motorcycle crash near Langley created long delays for eastbound Highway 1 traffic before 264 Street Monday morning.

Callers to 1130 NewsRadio first reported the crash around 8:20 a.m.

Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly thereafter.

Traffic was temporarily blocked in both directions, but DriveBC confirmed early on that westbound traffic was moving.

The crash cleared and eastbound traffic began moving again, slowly, after 9 a.m., but delays continued throughout the morning.

Drivers can take the Fraser Highway to avoid delays.
