44-year-old arrested in connection with death in Bridal Falls

A 44-year-old man faces murder charges in connection with a death earlier this year near Bridal Falls.
According to the RCMP, officers were called to do a wellness check on a 42-year-old man at a property along Bridal Falls Road on May 19.

The death was initially not considered suspicious, but circumstances changed nearly a week later, prompting a homicide investigation conducted by the BC Coroners Service.
The suspect, who police describe as a resident of the Lower Mainland, has now been charged with second-degree murder.
The case is now before the courts.
