A man convicted of assault, who shirked the conditions of his release last year, has been released into Vancouver on new conditions.
The Vancouver Police Department says 42-year-old Jordan McIntosh finished serving a conditional sentence in September, 2025, related to two counts of assault and one breach of release from 2024.

That’s when “the VPD’s Intimate Partner Violence and Risk Assessment Unit became involved due to McIntosh’s history of violence against women.”
Investigators finally found McIntosh in a residence on Water Street earlier this month.
Police claim he was arrested after he tried to escape through a window.
Records show McIntosh was held in custody until an appearance at Vancouver provincial court on Wednesday. The court ruled he would be released again to serve his conditional sentence with another ankle monitor.
“McIntosh has 49 criminal convictions, including 11 for violence or weapons,” police noted.
