Winter coming early for Whistler

WHISTLER (NEWS1130) – Whistler will be opening on Friday – five days ahead of schedule. Mountain manager Doug MacFarlane says there’s lots of snow already.
“We have great early-season conditions and in fact there’s a storm right now. We sitting at about 70 centimetres (worth of snow),” boasts MacFarlane.
He says they’re expecting another 20 centimetres to fall later this week. Meanwhile, Blackcomb opens on November 25.
