About Anthony
Anthony is a Bulgarian Canadian raised in North Vancouver with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and political science from the University of Victoria.
Interested in taking his education further, Anthony undertook the BCIT Broadcast Journalism Program. He accepted a co-op position in the spring of 2024 with 1130 NewsRadio, and was officially hired in the summer of 2024 as an anchor, reporter, and weekend producer.
Anthony loves learning about different cultures, and his desire to report on the truth while providing an opportunity for people to tell their stories is a fundamental reason why he chose this career path.
In his off time he enjoys playing soccer and watching his favorite sports teams, Borussia Dortmund and the Vancouver Canucks.
