On Wednesday September 22nd, McDonald’s restaurants, guests, and local communities will come together to raise funds in support of Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon.
With?1 Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver,?and?1 Ronald McDonald Family Room in Surrey,?RMHC BC & Yukon supports more than?1,800?families from more than?200 communities?in an average year.
RMHC BC & Yukon saves families more than?$8.3M?annually in out-of-pocket expenses such as accommodation, meals, and travel.
This year, every purchase across the full McDonald’s menu supports families with sick children and local children’s charities.
Since its inception in 1977, McHappy Day, along with the every day support of Canadians at McDonald’s, has helped RMHC support more than 425,000 families across Canada, giving them a place to stay together when they have to travel for their sick child’s treatment.
