CityNews 1130 is a proud media partner of The 35th Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival.  All events are free and open to the public.  Vancouver’s Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival is the continent’s flagship dragon boat festival, featuring: almost 200 teams represented by 5,000 racers, the TD Main Stage’s 100% local music lineup, a cultural program that links the modern festival to its roots in Chinese culture, and more surprises.

The Festival is organized by the Canadian International Dragon Boat Festival Society (Dragon Boat BC), a non-profit organization founded in 1989 that also runs Dragon Zone Paddling Club – Canada’s largest paddling club, and a host of events around BC.
