Ice floating on the Fraser River in B.C.
B.C.'s deep freeze has brought -20 C windchill temperatures to Metro Vancouver throughout the last week of December 2021. Evidence of the chilly arctic outflow can be seen through a time-lapse of the ice floating along the Fraser River near New Westminster, B.C.
